Hospedia is dedicated to making people’s stay in hospital easier by providing some of the entertainment and communication choices they enjoy at home. The bedside console provides a personal phone and dedicated number, as well as radio and more than 20 television channels
In supporting Hospedia, Direct IT have carried out works in medical institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The initial national digital system roll out was implemented and managed by Direct IT and five years on we are still the only maintenance partner. Our engineers have 5 years experience working on Hospedia infrastructure systems carrying out bed side unit installations including all back end infrastructure cabling (RF, data & power) payphone and vending machine installations, private ward Television system installations and all relevant equipment relocations within the hosting Primary Care Trust sites
Repair workshop:
Working with Hospedia over the last 5 years we have maintained and installed various IT equipment from servers to workstations. we have also been Hospedia preferred partner on repairing and maintaining their bed side units. Our in house workshop repairs out of warranty equipment providing our client a cost effective process, our workshop engineers repair equipment from HP, Animal Systems and Allied Telesis. We use Touchpaper call logging system to track repairs, assets and follow up calls which enable us to keep a current database on repairs carried out
